About me
I am a keen photographer based in the North East of England, on the Co. Durham Northumberland border. I have recently taken retirement from my job of 30 years and I’m now starting out on a Photography career. I have set up George Ledger Sports Photography which is a sports photography company based in the North East of England and will provide a full UK coverage.
Images are available for download for licensing purposes. Photos will be posted and updated on a regular basis during and/or shortly after the events attended.
My aim is to provide powerful high quality images both to the media and also directly to individual Sports people and Sports clubs, and I am available to cover sporting fixtures at any level on commission; please get in touch to discuss your needs. I will undertake any event and offer a top-quality product for your publication, website or club.
Despite concentrating on Sports Photography, I still enjoy taking all types of photographs and point my camera at most things, wildlife, landscapes etc etc. even Portaits and Weddings. I still get a great buzz from covering a wedding and getting to share a special day with the Bride and Groom and their friends and family. I intend to develop the things I have done before but also try out new photographic techniques and try as many new fields as possible.
